Joslyn Thompson, creator of Fit Girl About Town has always been a fan of doing a squat or two as it keeps her tush in check. She’s very picky about her food and swaps belly bloating bread for delicious veggies that will definitely make her skin dazzle and keep cellulite at bay. She is a Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist and owns One Personal Training Studio in the City of London where she whips the body beautiful into shape. She has worked with Nike as a fitness trainer, and has trained sports teams to get them into tip top shape so that they can win stuff. In between lunges she regularly pens articles for health and beauty magazines. She’s known for barking loudly at clients when they say they’re too tired to train, but is super nice when they just get on with it!
Fit Girl About Town was created because we felt there was a desperate need to put a little fun back into your body beautiful regime!
We know that watching what you eat and sweating your butt off at the gym can be a drag which is why we are here to keep you up to date on all things fitness, nutrition and general body-fabulousness. We do the research so you don’t have to.
Sure you know that eating veggies every day is good for you, but wouldn’t you enjoy them so much more if you knew that the green leafy ones swiped cellulite clean off your thighs! Yeah, you know exercise is good for you, but wouldn’t you be more focused in the gym if you knew that a 20 minute interval session burns more fat than 45 minutes of long slow steady state on the cross-trainer!
