Is Lack of Sleep Driving You Bananas?

Isn’t it really annoying when sometimes, despite being tired, you just can’t sleep?

Often we need a little help to calm ourselves down enough to sleep.  Bananas are rich in tryptophan, an amino acid that is converted into the calming and sleep-inducing brain chemical serotonin.  Of course banana bread and banana splits are not included here, this is not an excuse for a midnight feast!

So if your peepers won’t close before midnight, snack on a banana before bed and sail smoothly into your sweet dreams.
